About The Fishery
Mossat Trout Fishery was established in 1994 and has being managed by Steve Parkinson and family since 2001. Since that time the fishery has gained a reputation with local fly fishers and visiting tourists for successful and tranquil fly fishing in rural Aberdeenshire.
There are 3 lochs and a stretch of a natural burn available to fly fish for trout. All lochs are fed by a natural water supply resulting in superb water and fish quality. They are also surrounded by natural vegetation which provides a good variety of insects for the trout.
Mossat Trout Fishery offers more than just a day out fishing. There is always the opportunity to observe some of the visiting wildlife and a chance to relax in wonderful surroundings.
We are members of the Scottish Tourist Board and 'Visit Scotland'.
